Districts 6 & 8: Special Election Update
TCEC will hold a special election in Spring 2026 to fill vacant Director seats for Districts 6 and 8. Only members residing within these specific districts are eligible to run for office or cast a vote.

The application window opens January 5, 2026. Prospective candidates must submit all required materials, including a petition with 25 verifiable signatures from their district, by 5 p.m. on January 23, 2026.
Key candidate requirements include: a completed application and affidavit, pass a background check and disclose potential conflicts of interest and complete a mandatory interview with the Credentials and Elections Committee.
