COOPERATIVE GIVING

Cooperative Giving: Helping Neighbors in Need

Cooperative Giving, through the Tri-County Electric Charitable Foundation, is a powerful way to support local members facing financial hardship. By making voluntary donations, you can help TCEC members who are struggling with financial hardship.

Cooperative Giving collects donations from Tri-County Electric Cooperative employees, members, and the community. Once funds are raised they will be sent to Texas Neighborhood Services, a local agency that administers the program. TCEC members in need can apply for electric bill assistance through Texas Neighborhood Services.

There are several convenient ways to contribute, neighbor to neighbor.

Round Up

Round Up allows members to round up their monthly electric bill to the nearest dollar, with the difference going directly to help local families in need. On average, this adds about 50 cents per month—roughly $6 per year—but the combined donations can make a significant impact.

You can also choose to combine Round Up with a fixed monthly donation for even greater support.

Charitable Foundation LogoAbout Tri-County Electric Charitable Foundation

The Tri-County Electric Charitable Foundation, Inc. was established to uplift Tri-County Electric Cooperative members and the community by using voluntary donations to provide electric bill payment assistance and to fund projects that meaningfully serve the membership or benefit the community.

The Foundation is financially independent from Tri-County Electric Cooperative, Inc. This means contributions do not come from members' electric bill payments unless a member requests to donate. The fees to create the corporation were sponsored by CoBank, a cooperative lender.  All funds raised are voluntary donations by employees, members, and the community.
