TCEC expects power to be restored today to members who remain without service due to the Heritage Substation outage. At TCEC’s request, our regional transmission provider is deploying a mobile substation to temporarily serve members while extensive permanent repairs are made to the damaged substation. Damage to transmission lines had to be repaired before this work could begin at the substation. With those transmission repairs completed, our regional transmission provider is now working to place the mobile substation into service. The mobile substation is expected to be operating and power restored to remaining affected members today. We know this has been an extended outage and appreciate your continued patience as our regional transmission provider completes their work.
