Credentials And Elections Committee

The Board of Directors election will be facilitated by the Credentials and Elections Committee as outlined in the Cooperative's Bylaws. The Committee, which operates independent of the Tri-County Electric Cooperative CEO, Board and staff, serves the membership by functioning as the screening process for members to seek election as a director.

The Committee, which is empowered to facilitate the entire election process, serves two purposes: determine eligibility for members seeking to be on the upcoming election ballot and to rank the top candidates per eligible district.

The Committee is responsible for reviewing all submitted candidate materials, interviewing all applicants, and nominating up to three candidates for each director district scheduled for election, in compliance with the Bylaws.

Each Committee member serves three years with current terms as follows:

  1. Districts 1, 2, 4: 1/1/24 – 12/31/26
  2. Districts 3, 6, 8: 1/1/25 – 12/31/27
  3. Districts 5, 7, 9: 1/1/26 – 12/31/28

Election inquiries may be sent to the committee by email at: elections@tcectexas.com.

All members on the committee were required to complete the following documents:
