Round Up Program Hits Major Milestone: 508 Members Strong and Growing

Wednesday | December 17, 2025
All News

At Tri-County Electric Cooperative (TCEC), we believe that small change can lead to significant transformation. This year, we are proud to celebrate a major milestone for our Round Up for Cooperative Giving program, a feat made possible by the incredible generosity of our members.

Surpassing Our 2025 Goals

When we looked toward 2025, the team set a goal to reach 500 participating members in the Round Up program. TCEC is excited to announce that as of early December, we have officially surpassed that target, with 508 members now actively rounding up their monthly bills.

The Round Up program is simple: a bill of $101.45 is rounded up to $102.00, with the extra $0.55 going directly toward helping a neighbor in need. While the average individual contribution is just $0.50 per month, these cents add up to power real change.

112 Families Assisted

The impact of these contributions is tangible. To date, these small, automatic donations have provided essential electric bill assistance to 112 families within our communities. For those facing financial hardship, this support is more than just a payment. It is a lifeline that keeps the lights on and the home safe.

How You Can Join

As a cooperative, we are stronger together. If you aren't yet participating, joining the Round Up program is an easy way to give back without breaking the bank.

  • Average Cost: Only about $6.00 per year.
  • Impact: 100% of funds go to local families.
  • Enrollment: Visit our website or use the MyTriCountyTX app to opt in.

Visit tcectexas.com/cooperative-giving to learn other ways you can contribute including recurring bill contributions or one-time donations. Together, we are powering hope.
