TCEC AND TNS staff participate in check presentationTri-County Electric Cooperative is dedicated to more than just delivering electricity; we are committed to the well-being of the people we serve. This week, the Tri-County Electric Charitable Foundation was honored to deliver a $25,000 check to our partners at Texas Neighborhood Services (TNS).

A Total of $50,000 in Support for 2025

This latest check brings TCEC’s total support for TNS to $50,000 in 2025. These funds are specifically earmarked for the Cooperative Giving Program, which assists TCEC members who are facing financial crises and struggling to pay their electric bills.

This achievement was a collective effort, made possible by:

  • TCEC Employees: Generous payroll deductions from our dedicated staff.
  • Cooperative Members: Contributions via one-time gifts and recurring bill donations.
  • Corporate Partners: A special thank you to Wagners, who contributed $2,500 to the fund this year.

A Partnership of Purpose

Texas Neighborhood Services serves as the vital link in this process, administering the program and ensuring that funds are distributed to qualifying members across our 16-county service area.

Bradley Manning, Executive Director of Texas Neighborhood Services, expressed his gratitude during the check presentation: "You guys really have made a huge impact in the community. From everyone that has been helped—thank you."

Join the Cause

Whether it’s through a one-time donation or a recurring contribution, your support ensures that no member of our cooperative family has to face the night without power.

Want to make a difference? Visit tcectexas.com/cooperative-giving to learn how you can contribute through recurring bill contributions, bill roundup, or one-time donations. Together, we are powering hope.
