David Miller, District 4
David Miller was elected to the Tri-County Electric Cooperative Board of Directors in January 2024.
David Miller is a lifelong resident of North Texas who carries tenured experience in municipal government and with non-profit organizations. He started his career in law enforcement in the mid-1980s as a patrol officer and is currently the City Administrator and Director of Public Safety for the City of Springtown. In addition to his work in municipal government, Miller has held numerous leadership roles for a myriad of local, state, and national professional organizations.
Outside of these efforts, David, along with his wife, Teresa, operate a therapeutic equine facility for children and adults with physical, intellectual, education and emotional disabilities, veterans, and those recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. The Millers established Stars and Strides in 2012 after being inspired by their daughter, Courtney, who experienced immense growth using equine-assisted therapy to overcome the challenges of her disability, Kabuki syndrome.
The Millers have been residents of Parker County for more than 18 years, and are longtime members of Northside Baptist Church where he serves as a bible teacher
