Entry Level Accountant Tri-County Electric Cooperative, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for an entry level accounting position to be based in its headquarters in Azle, Texas. Tri-County Electric Cooperative, Inc. is a fast growing cooperative with approximately 90,000 meters with annual revenues approaching $225 million. The Cooperative provides services in sixteen counties in North Central Texas. Position requires a self motivated, highly organized and detailed oriented individual. This individual must be capable of learning all aspects of Accounting for the Cooperative. In addition to assisting in the maintenance of the General Ledger and Subsidiary Ledgers, the successful candidate will provide support for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Patronage Capital Accounting. Position will assist in the daily, monthly and annual accounting functions, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, cash posting and other duties as assigned by the Accounting Supervisor. Position requires a general working knowledge of the accounting principles. This knowledge is typically attained by a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or General Business and such degree is required of the successful candidate. Benefits Specialist Tri-County Electric Cooperative, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for an entry level human resource/benefits position to be based in its headquarters in Azle, Texas. Tri-County Electric Cooperative, Inc. is a fast growing cooperative with approximately 90,000 meters with annual revenues approaching $225 million. The Cooperative provides services in sixteen counties in North Central Texas. Position requires a self motivated, highly organized and detailed oriented individual. This individual must be capable of effectively responding to employee inquiries regarding their insurance benefits. Individual must be able to draft Microsoft Word documents and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel in order to assist the Benefit Administrator perform analytical work. In addition to maintaining the insurance files, individual will provide support for pre-employment screenings, quarterly random drug testing and health screenings. Individual will work on damage billings and claims. The position will provide administrative support and coordination for annual insurance enrollment for employees. Position provides administrative and employee support for the Cooperative's insurance programs and whatever duties assigned by the Benefits Administrator. Position requires a general working knowledge of the insurance function and benefits offered by the Cooperative. This knowledge is typically attained by a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or its equivalent and a minimum of two years related experience. Utility Design Engineer Tri-County Electric Cooperative, Inc. Azle, Texas
Tri-County Electric Cooperative, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for a Utility Design Engineer position to be based in its Northeast District Office in Fort Worth, Texas. Tri-County Electric Cooperative, Inc. is a fast growing cooperative with approximately 90,000 meters with annual revenues approaching $225 million. The Cooperative provides services in sixteen counties in North Central Texas. The position is responsible for the efficient and economic design and construction of underground and overhead electric distribution systems; coordination and project management of work orders; correspondence with developers, engineers, homebuilders, and utility contractors; together with performing and managing all CAD activities, construction drawings, cost estimates, material management, project management, and surveying.
The successful candidate is preferred to have directly related experience with designing underground and overhead distribution systems. A Bachelors and/or Associates degree from an accredited college is preferred. A demonstrated proficiency in computer technology and Computer Aided Drafting technology are a must. Strong communication skills are necessary. A general knowledge of electric utility operations is highly desirable. Various combinations of relevant education and experience will be considered.
